Welsh Brisket on the Bone

When you need a beef cut on the bone for either Cawl or broth, the Brisket is a classic and traditional choice.  The brisket comes from the chest of the cascass, and has comprises of layers of meat, fat and bone in a slice that can fit into the pan easy enough, ready to boil. the fat and bone ensure a good flavour release into the stock/broth, and this cut has been used for makingthe traditional Welsh Cawl for generations!

The majority of our beef is locally sourced with some coming from our own farm, some five miles away. We are fortunate to be surrounded by a wealth of beef producers. We are on first name terms with many local farmers having built relationships over decades. We also frequent the local livestock markets in addition to purchasing carcasses and prime cuts from local abattoirs, thus ensuring a consistency of both quality and welfare.

All cut products to be within +/-5% of weights in description. All meat to be cut to order and has a minimum 3 days shelf life (unless otherwise agreed/stated). Before placing your order, please check out our  DELIVERY (dewijamesbutchers.co.uk) information.
