Our Rump steak is both tender and succulent - a lean steak with a seam of fat on the side that provides that extra flavour. Considered the entry level of the steak world. It may not be the most tender when comparing to to sirloin, fillet or rib-eye, but the price reflects this and with the right cooking technique (Don't over do it!) it can be a real contender on the plate. The nature of the rump muscle also allows us to provide options for some mega steaks, which will fill up the bigest of plates and challenge the biggest of appetites! 

The majority of our beef is locally sourced with some coming from our own farm, some five miles away. We are fortunate to be surrounded by a wealth of beef producers. We are on first name terms with many local farmers having built relationships over decades. We also frequent the local livestock markets in addition to purchasing carcasses and prime cuts from local abattoirs, thus ensuring a consistency of both quality and welfare.
